Carla Fisk
Voice

Carla Fisk is originally from Memphis, TN. There she acquired a Bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis in Music Education. She left Memphis to become a Young Artist apprentice with the Baltimore Opera and was later asked back to sing on their main stage under the direction of Werner Herzog. From there she moved to New York City, where she lived for 6 years. She started a company with her friends called "Opera on Tap," and they have been mentioned in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Sun Times and have had a spot on "All Things Considered" on NPR. While keeping up with "Opera on Tap," she has performed in New York City, Rome, Italy, Baltimore, Memphis, New Jersey, and Mississippi.

In 2007, she married Dave Fisk of the Albany area. Carla is teaching and performing in the Capital District while staying involved with "Opera on Tap."

Carla holds an initial New York State Public School Teacher Certificate in Music.
